Where we are
Our location is strategic: immersed in the authentic Florentine atmosphere, we are located in a quiet and residential area, the San Marco district, full of shops, restaurants and cafes, perfect for those who wish to experience the city in a comfortable and relaxed way.
Within a few minutes’ walk from the hotel are some of Florence’s main attractions: the Accademia Gallery (500 m), with Michelangelo’s famous David, the Duomo and Piazza del Duomo (900 m), the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella, Santa Croce, the Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio (1.7 km) and Palazzo Pitti (2 km). The Mercato Centrale in San Lorenzo, with its lively and typical food and wine offerings, is also easily accessible.
The hotel’s location is also ideal for exploring the city on foot: in about 20 minutes you can reach the Lungarno and Oltrarno, the most authentic and artisanal part of the city; in 40 minutes you can reach the Boboli Gardens or climb the hill leading to San Miniato al Monte, to enjoy a breathtaking view of the whole of Florence.
The Hotel De La Pace is located within the city centre’s ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone), but remains conveniently accessible: those arriving by car can pass through without any problems, by notifying reception within three hours of entering. Our staff will take care of reporting your presence to the relevant authorities. The hotel is also easily accessible by public transport and taxi: Santa Maria Novella station is only 10 minutes away by tram, while Florence Airport is approximately 35 minutes away.
Reception is always available for suggestions on itineraries, reservations and advice on what to see and where to eat.
