Visit Florence and its  beautiful sights

The Hotel De La Pace is located in Via Alfonso Lamarmora n. 28, in the historic center of Florence, near Piazza S. Marco (St. Mark’s Square)  and near the convent by the same name, yet, away from the clamor of the most famous and most visited squares in Florence, such as Piazza Duomo and or Piazza S. Croce.



A quiet place, but where you can still reach all the most important monuments in Florence at just a short walking distance, beginning with the Museo dell’Accademia (Accademia Museum), where the David of Michelangelo can be admired, to the Convent of Piazza S. Marco, where you can find the frescoes by the Beato Angelico (the “blessed angelic one”); from the Church of the SS. Annunziata (Most Holy Annunciation) to the Basilica di San Lorenzo (Basilica of St. Lawrence) with its Medici Chapels; from the Cathedral of S. Maria del Fiore, to Bell Tower of Giotto; from the Palazzo Vecchio (Town Hall of Florence) to the Uffizi Gallery.

If you wish to go further, you can use our bikes, which will allow you to reach the Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti, as well as the Boboli Gardens, Piazza S. Spirito, all the way to the Cascine Park, the green lung of Florence, or the Piazzale Michelangelo, from where you can admire a panoramic views of the city.



The Hotel De La Pace is also served by public transportation: the main ATAF lines stop in Piazza S. Marco, which will allow you to reach every corner of the city, while the Piazza della Stazione (train station) is about 15 minutes away.

The Hotel’s position, central but close to boulevards, make it also an excellent starting point for visiting the city of Fiesole, either by car or by public transport (line 7 from Piazza San Marco).
